Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
【路2:42】 当他十二岁的时候，他们按着节期的规矩上去。
And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
【路2:43】 守满了节期，他们回去，孩童耶稣仍旧在耶路撒冷。他的父母并不知道。
And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
【路2:44】 以为他在同行的人中间，走了一天的路程，就在亲族和熟识的人中找他。
But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
【路2:45】 既找不着，就回耶路撒冷去找他。
And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
【路2:46】 过了三天，就遇见他在殿里，坐在教师中间，一面听，一面问。
And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
【路2:47】 凡听见他的，都希奇他的聪明，和他的应对。
And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
【路2:48】 他父母看见就很希奇。他母亲对他说，我儿，为什么向我们这样行呢？看哪，你父亲和我伤心来找你。
And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
【路2:49】 耶稣说，为什么找我呢？岂不知我应当以我父的事为念吗？（或作岂不知我应当在我父的家里吗）
And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
【路2:50】 他所说的这话，他们不明白。
And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
