Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
【太3:14】 约翰想要拦住他，说，我当受你的洗，你反倒上我这里来吗？
But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
【太3:15】 耶稣回答说，你暂且许我。因为我们理当这样尽诸般的义。（或作礼）于是约翰许了他。
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
【太3:16】 耶稣受了洗，随即从水里上来。天忽然为他开了，他就看见神的灵，仿佛鸽子降下，落在他身上。
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
【太3:17】 从天上有声音说，这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。
And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
